It is not just about dog sitting. It is not just for dogs left alone all day. Nor is it about convenience. Daycare is something good you do for your dog. It is about learning to be sociable, making friends, building confidence, and gaining independence. It's about feeling whole and a sense of belonging with one's own kind.

A FEW WORDS ON SLEEPOVERS

We offer sleepovers to dogs who attend our daycare or playgroup. We occasionally take bookings from new clients providing they are suitable for and attend daycare at least twice before booking a sleepover. Our sleepovers are in our homes where your dog is treated just like one of our own. Our prices are midway between bare-bones kenneling and luxury boarding services.

A FEW WORDS ON TRAINING & ACTIVITIES

Training and activities we do with our dogs should be fun and pleasurable for all involved. Our modern, scientifically-based training focuses on using positive experiences and interactions, reward and reinforcement, kindness and patience, to build strong, mutually respectful partnerships between person and pet in which both parties know how to behave well together.

The list of our scheduled events appears in the Events Box below. Events Designated to specific groups will begin with the initials of the group or have their logo. Click on the title of the event to read the entire description and to RSVP if applicable.

We are always looking for interesting things to do and offer. If you have suggestions, please let us know. If there is something you'd like to offer at The Little Dog House or to our members, please let us know.

The Little Dog House (LDH) Events are open to a broad base of our clients which will be specified in the Event Description.
